hello, there!
I'm Colette Mull
I am a board-certified pediatrician and pediatric emergency medicine physician with over two decades of experience in academic medicine, clinical care, and graduate medical education. Today, I channel that deep expertise into creating high-impact, evidence-based medical content for both healthcare professionals and lay audiences.
From physician to writer: Making science accessible
Throughout my career, I've been recognized as an educator who could distill complex medical concepts into language that informs without overwhelming.
Whether guiding a new physician at the bedside or breaking down a clinical nuance for parents in the emergency department, I’ve always found power in clear, thoughtful communication. That same approach now drives my work as a medical writer.

on a personal note
When I am not crafting content, I split my time between Cape May, NJ and Atlantic Shores, Barbados, two places that inspire and ground me in equal measure. You will often find me reading on my patio, tending to my garden, practicing Pilates, or experimenting with new dinner recipes.
